01 / A little about me
Computer Science Engineering student at Thapar University, Patiala. I like asking how things work—and finding careful, practical ways to make them work better.
I approach engineering with curiosity, combining research, experimentation, and software development to solve meaningful problems. From analysing complex physical systems to building intelligent models and practical applications, I value ideas that are rigorously tested and thoughtfully built. I believe good engineering is not just about making things work, but understanding why they work.

Developed an end-to-end vision pipeline to analyze 36 directed energy deposition experiments. Extracted 15 physically motivated features using mass-weighted edge detection, dense optical flow, and FFT-based periodicity analysis.
Combined PCA-filtered TOPSIS, AHP, entropy weighting, and MOORA to rank conditions. Cross-method Spearman correlations exceeded 0.7, with 100% top-5 stability in a 500-trial sensitivity analysis. Top conditions were physically validated across three spot-diameter zones; manuscript in preparation.
Built a leakage-free RUL pipeline on NASA C-MAPSS using LSTM and Transformer models; reached RMSE 13.4 and 13.1 on FD001, a ~67% reduction over a mean-predictor baseline, with results averaged over 3 seeds and compared against Ridge and Random Forest.
Showed via ablation that positional encoding cuts Transformer RMSE from 15.9 to 12.9; trained an autoencoder on healthy engine states for anomaly detection (AUROC 0.76).
View project on GitHubBuilt delivery-risk prediction models with feature engineering and SMOTE class balancing; compared Random Forest, XGBoost, and Logistic Regression.
Best-performing model reported 84.6% accuracy/F1-score.
Developed a responsive, mobile-first carpooling interface for ride search, filtering, and sorting. Integrated REST APIs for creating, discovering, and joining rides, collaborating with backend developers.

Studied vision-based parameter optimization for directed energy deposition of waste metallic particles. Developed the analysis pipeline, isolated a measurement confound with OLS-based deconfounding regression, and physically validated top-ranked conditions.
